Christmas Plum Cake

Bring you a delicious eggless plum cake with rich dry fruits and goodness of spices for this Christmas season. The cake contains beneficial fruits, so it’s a healthy dessert for your dear ones.

Take a small bowl and add,

3 Tbsp Black Raisin

3 Tbsp Candied Cherry

3 Tbsp Tutty Fruity

3 Tbsp Roughly Chopped Cashew Nuts

3 Tbsp Roughly Chopped Almonds

3 Tbsp Raisins

6 Tbsp Orange Juice.

Mix it well and let it soak for at least 1 hour.


Take a pan, and add 6 Tbsp of Sugar. Heat till the sugar melts.

Add 3-4 Tbsp warm or hot water, lower the flame and mix well.

Let it cool down.


Preheat oven to 170°C for 10 min.

Let’s prepare the batter, take a large bowl,

Add 1 cup Milk

6 Tbsp of melted Butter

1 Tsp of Vanilla Essence

1 Tsp Nutmeg powder

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon powder

1/4 Tsp dried Ginger powder ( Optional), and mix well.


Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour,

1/2 cup powdered Sugar

1 Tbsp Cocoa powder

1 Tsp Baking powder

1/4 Tsp Baking soda


Sift all together and mix gently.


Add the caramelised Sugar syrup and mix gently.


Add the soaked dry fruits and mix them well.


Add 2 Tsp synthetic white Vinegar, and mix quickly.


Pour into the mold.


Add some dry fruits to the top. Bake the cake for 60 min.

Take it out and let it cool.
